Quest(ion) Tag / Was ist Ihre Suche?/

“Sometimes, you just got to sit down. And stand for a question’s sake”

Quest(ion) Tag / Was ist Ihre Suche?/ What's your Quest?/: an experiment about A Big Quest(ion).

So are the rules:

- make and put a whole alphabet [or the numbers or…: the characters currently used in your place to name places and institutions] in a cup, two times : two cups;
- take an innocent hand to pick each time one letter /one character;
- find out with the first letter/character a place or a Viertel of your city;
- find out with the second letter/character a worship place in this spot;
- think about sitting outside during a quite long while & your personal basicst needs for this quite long while (by example, warm clothes, gloves, rain-equipment, sugar, water, no phone - the matter is still just to "do it");
- pray it wont rain;
- go to the fateful spot in order to be sitting there 7 daily-light-hours long – here from 8am to 3pm, Lichtenrade, in front of the catholic Church "Salvator";
- concentrate on your question, the people around you and your duty;
- be ready for anything!!! (and take note of what happened in this present case...)

















Experiment begun in time – 8am, 11.12.2009 - and ended at due time, 3pm, 11.12.2009.

























Answers/reactions:

Fazit:

The nice sides of the experiment:

- great people met, nice chats and even help given!;
- very interesting answers and reactions;
- after a weird while in the semi-darkness, asking myself how to act and present the question, barely sitting with the presented sheet felt like the most normal position to adopt, the simply question has become the very centre of the whole, thanks to the interaction with the people walking by for a grand part;
- good learning in patience, dealing with time and weather;
- the sun shining just in front of me – delightful, and very welcome!

The naughty sides of the experiment:

- the cold weather biting slowly the motivation…
- the rather common misunderstandings of the whole: to be taken as a religious fanatic (!) was actually not the goal, although a certain direct provocation was (naturally) dabei.

Short, the best: action!!!
