Oh Merry! The art project "Christmas Palm", initiated by the Polish artist and curator Marcin Kowalik, takes you, you blessed Christmas time, into Freies Museum Berlin - with all your sparkling baubles, the shining children eyes, the frantic search for presents and the contemplative conviviality. The one-day exhibition with 81 artists from all over the world is not only for those who love Christmas, but also for the ones who want to escape the dark days. Oversized, brightly shining Christmas tree balls to intricate structure drawings, from painting, photography, video and installations to performances and auctions, are part of the festive diversity.

This unique magical advent stretches out across all of Berlin as a citywide parlor game: You can visit the identical exhibition in smaller scale in other galleries - adjusted to the special site. The most attentive player will be rewarded with real Christmas presents. For your private Christmas Happening under your own Christmas tree anywhere in this world, the exhibition is available as a home version: online with complete blueprint for the own four walls.
